2019 is your summer!!
Best practices for starting a Bikram yoga routine:
- Come in TOMORROW for your next class. Don't wait, especially if you feel sore. (Returning to the heat helps alleviate muscle soreness!)
- Drink plenty of water throughout the day- at least 3 to 4 quarts. Water is usually enough, but if you feel depleted or have headaches, try supplementing with coconut water, sea salt or an all-natural electrolyte mix like Nuun.
- Attend at least 10 classes during the next 19 days. You will acclimate to the heat, get into a routine and begin noticing results such as weight loss, increased energy and relief of chronic pain- often much quicker than you expect!
