Kerri says, "I took this really hard emotionally. I was depressed and it not only made me gain weight, it affected my work and was hard on my relationship with my husband.
"In December I finally decided to start to get my mind and body healthy again. As fate would have it, that's when Bikram Yoga St. Johns opened. I decided to try it, and after the first session I felt so amazing, I knew I had to keep going. After almost two months of practicing, I can say that it has completely changed my life. Not only have I lost weight, my attitude and emotions have turned around.
"At work I am more productive and feel like I have my feet back under me. I am more able to deal with stressful situations and am sleeping better at night, which helps my overall mood.
"Bikram Yoga St. Johns has helped me so much I feel like I am almost ready to try IVF again, which I wasn't emotionally ready for before I started yoga. Words really can't describe how much this place has helped me."
Kerri convinced Jon to become a Karma Yogi and join her in her practice. Jon has made an excellent addition to the BYSJ team and the yoga has helped him stay relaxed while studying for the LSAT . As a couple, doing yoga together has made them closer, happier and more ready to try to start their family again.
Kerri says, "I would tell anyone thinking about starting Bikram yoga, that there are so many physical and mental health benefits that it is totally worth it- "Do later now".
